A Academia Britânica de Cinema anunciou hoje os nomeados aos BAFTA e destacou The Father, de Florian Zeller, The Mauritanian, de Kevin Macdonald e Promising Young Woman, de Emerald Fennell como candidatos ao troféu de Melhor Filme e Melhor Filme Britânico do Ano. Às três longas-metragens juntam-se The Trial of the Chicago 7, de Aaron Sorkin e Nomadland, de Chloé Zhao na disputa pelo troféu de Filme do Ano.
